About the product
Text Brush is a freehand text-path editor for photos.
It solves one specific creative task: placing exact words along a route you draw directly over an image. Upload a photo, type the phrase, choose its look, and paint the route with a finger or mouse.
The path is the primary input
Most text editors begin with a text box, an arc, or a curvature slider. Text Brush begins with the route itself. Your stroke is smoothed into a drawable path, then the phrase is laid out along that path so each bend belongs exactly where you placed it on the photo.
That makes it useful for loose captions, handwriting-style lettering, photo annotations, friendship messages, and any layout where a fixed circle or single bend is too limiting.
Designed for touch, not a desktop workaround
The editor accepts both touch and pointer input, keeps the live stroke responsive while you draw, and finishes the complete path after the gesture ends. Color, magic gradient, font size, undo, redo, and export stay beside the canvas instead of behind a multi-step design workflow.
Your picture stays in your browser
Editing happens in the browser. The photo you choose, your phrase, and the path you draw are used locally to compose the result; the editor does not need to upload the artwork to a remote image-processing service just to place the text.
Built on open drawing foundations
The underlying brush, photo, and video drawing work is publicly available as an open-source project. It documents the technical foundation behind the route-led interaction used by Text Brush.
