1. Who we are

Text Brush is operated by WOWCODED THINGS LTD. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. Our merchant and contact details appear at the end of this page.

2. Text Brush Photo Video for iOS

The Text Brush Photo Video iOS app does not require an account and does not display advertising. Starting with version 1.2.2, it uses AppsFlyer to measure which advertising campaigns lead to app installations, subject to the choices described below. Earlier versions that include AppMetrica use the separate, optional usage-analytics behavior described below.

• Photos and videos you select with Apple's photo picker, your typed phrases, and your drawings are processed on your device. The app does not upload this media or artwork to our servers. Video working copies and export files are temporary and are removed after use or on a later app launch.
• The app requests permission to add finished photos and videos to your Photos library. It accesses media you explicitly select and uses add-only Photos access when saving a result.
• The app stores the welcome-screen status and the current local-day free-save allowance in app-only device storage. This information is not sent off the device.
• In earlier versions with AppMetrica, usage analytics is off by default. Only if you enable Share Usage Analytics does AppMetrica start and receive a persistent SDK installation/device identifier, app installation and session interactions, general device and app details such as operating-system version and screen resolution, and approximate location derived from the network address. We use this information for analytics and app functionality. It is associated with the SDK device identifier, but not with an account, name, email address, or advertising identifier.
• Those versions do not send AppMetrica your typed text, photos, videos, drawings, purchase history, precise location, profile identifier, or IDFA. We do not use AppMetrica for cross-app tracking or personalised advertising. You can stop future analytics transmission at any time by switching Share Usage Analytics off in Settings.
• In version 1.2.2 and later, the AppsFlyer SDK starts only after you allow tracking in Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. With your permission and Ad attribution enabled in Settings, AppsFlyer receives installation and session data, device identifiers including IDFA, general device and app information, and IP-derived approximate location. This data can be linked to advertising interactions across other companies' apps and websites to measure installs. We share attribution data with configured advertising partners, currently Yandex Direct. We do not use this integration to display personalized ads in Text Brush.
• You can stop future AppsFlyer SDK transmission by turning off Ad attribution in the app's Settings or by withdrawing tracking permission in iOS Settings. Denying permission does not restrict editing, exports, or purchases. AppsFlyer does not receive your photos, videos, typed text, drawings, purchase history, precise location, or custom editing events from Text Brush. Previous AppMetrica consent does not grant permission for AppsFlyer tracking.
• Separately, Apple's SKAdNetwork can report installations using privacy-preserving aggregate attribution without ATT permission. Text Brush registers install-only attribution; it does not report editing or purchase conversion events. Apple sends attribution reports to the advertising network and may send a developer copy to AppsFlyer. These reports do not identify you individually and are separate from the optional AppsFlyer SDK transmission.
• Apple processes the optional yearly subscription and lifetime purchase through StoreKit. We do not receive your full payment-card details or send purchase information to our own servers. Apple's privacy terms govern information Apple processes for App Store purchases.

The website practices below do not occur merely because you use the iOS app. If you open the Text Brush website or a support link from the app, the relevant website sections of this policy apply.

3. Website information we collect

Information you provide or connect

• Your Google account name, email address, profile image, and Google account identifier when you sign in.
• Your Text Brush account status, save allowance, and lifetime access status.
• Stripe customer, checkout, and payment identifiers; payment status; amount; and currency. We do not receive or store your full card number or card security code.
• Your name, email address, and message when you contact support.

Information collected automatically

• IP address, browser and device information, user agent, and a random cookie identifier used for save limits, support, security, and abuse prevention.
• Page visits, referrals, and interaction information collected through Google Analytics to understand and improve the site.

Your images and editor drafts

Images and text designs are processed in your browser. Your current editor draft may be stored locally in your browser so it can survive sign-in and checkout redirects. It is not uploaded to our application database as part of the editing or save-access flow.

4. How and why we use information

• To authenticate you, provide the service, deliver purchased access, and perform our contract with you.
• To enforce guest and registered-account save allowances and protect the service against fraud or abuse.
• To process payments, maintain transaction and accounting records, and handle refunds or disputes.
• To answer support messages and resolve problems.
• To measure site usage and improve Text Brush where permitted by law.
• To comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

5. Who receives information

We do not sell your personal information. We use:

• Google for sign-in and Google Analytics.
• Yandex AppMetrica for optional usage analytics in earlier iOS app versions after your opt-in. AppMetrica may process this data on infrastructure in the European Union and the Russian Federation according to its terms and privacy documentation.
• AppsFlyer and our configured advertising partners, currently Yandex Direct, for iOS install attribution as described above. AppsFlyer's customer-data privacy information explains its processing of app-user data, and its privacy policy covers its own websites and marketing services.
• Stripe for hosted checkout, payment processing, refunds, and payment records.
• Telegram to deliver support-form messages, optional new-user registration alerts containing account information, and daily administrative reports containing aggregate service metrics to our support team.
• Hosting, database, and infrastructure providers needed to run and secure the service.
• Professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect legal rights.

These providers process information under their own terms or our instructions, depending on their role. Some may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where applicable, we rely on legally recognised safeguards for international transfers.

6. Cookies and browser storage

Text Brush uses:

• An HTTP-only random identifier cookie to recognise an anonymous browser and apply the guest save allowance.
• An authentication cookie after you sign in.
• Browser storage, including IndexedDB, for editor drafts and payment-return state.
• Google Analytics cookies and similar identifiers for site measurement.

You can control cookies and local storage through your browser. Blocking required storage may prevent sign-in, restoring a draft, or free-save tracking from working correctly.

7. Payment security

Checkout is hosted and processed by Stripe. Payment-card data is entered directly into Stripe's checkout service. Text Brush stores payment references and status needed to activate access and support the transaction, but does not store full payment-card details.

8. Retention

We retain account and access records while your account or purchased access remains active. Transaction, refund, tax, and accounting records are retained for the periods required by law. Save-limit, support, and security records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for their operational or legal purpose. Browser-stored drafts remain on your device until the app or you remove them, or browser storage is cleared.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information, and to receive a portable copy. You may also withdraw consent where processing depends on consent and complain to your local data-protection authority. These rights may be limited where we must retain information by law or have another lawful basis to use it.

You can permanently delete your Text Brush account from the account profile in the site header. This removes your account, Google connection, login sessions, and access entitlement. We retain a keyed fingerprint of your email and its free-save usage after deletion to prevent repeated free allowances and duplicate registration messages when you register again. This record does not contain your name or plain-text email. Account deletion does not itself issue a refund. Payment and transaction records may be retained where required for accounting, fraud prevention, disputes, or legal compliance.

10. Children

Text Brush is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised version here and change the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be highlighted where appropriate.
