Focused workflow comparison

Text Brush vs Picsart

A comparison of Picsart's documented bend slider with a direct, hand-drawn route for text on photos.

Text Brush

Draw the precise route first; the phrase follows it.

Picsart

A bend amount, not a route

Text Brush turns the stroke into the route, giving every bend a location and direction you place yourself.

A bend amount, not a route

Left-or-right bend is fast for an arc. It offers less direct control when a phrase needs to follow an uneven line drawn across a specific photo.

A slider answers “how much bend?” A hand-drawn path answers “bend exactly here.”

Research notes and source

We reviewed each product's own documentation for one narrow task: placing exact words along an irregular, hand-drawn route over a photo. Last reviewed July 2026.

Picsart's curved-text guide opens Font settings and has you slide a bend control left or right to arc the text up or down.
